The Hyundai Elantra Hybrid gets fantastic fuel economy. While it's not the best looking car in its class, the Elantra Hybrid combines a lot of features with a nice interior and return excellent gas mileage on top of all of it. It's one of the most spacious and practical cars in the class, and the fact that it's also one of the most fuel efficient small sedans you can buy is the cherry on top. The styling certainly isn't for everyone, but if space, features, and gas mileage are your primary concerns and you're not ready to take the EV or plug-in hybrid leap yet, the Elantra hybrid gives you a lot for your $30k.
