The Poynter Institute welcomes David Axelrod as the third speaker in Poynter’s 40th Anniversary Speaker Series. Past speakers this fall included Ana Navarro and Andy Borowitz.

David Axelrod is a political theorist and the author of “Believer: My Forty Years in Politics” (2015). Axelrod served as senior advisor to President Barack Obama and to the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition, as well as senior strategist to Barack Obama’s historic campaign for the presidency in 2008 and his re-election in 2012.
