Welcome to the Acorn Creek Trail during peak wildflower season in Colorado. We are taking you on a scenic and cinematic 7.3 mile/11.7 km hike with 2700 feet/822 m of elevation change. The parking lot is pretty small and there is no restroom at the trailhead, so make sure you arrive early to get a spot. Most of the hike is in and out of the trees, which is nice protection from the sun. The last bit is out in the open. The wind can be pretty intense when you get to the top, so you might want to bring a jacket. Overall, the hike isn't too intense, but is a constant gain throughout the entire hike.

That being said, we are trying a completely new style of video and would love to hear your feedback. Please let us know in the comments below if you liked this style of video. Thank you!

Wildflowers and EPIC mountain views | Acorn Creek Trail
----------------------

We’re Anna D and Adam, vloggers living in Colorado. After the pandemic shut everything down in March of 2020, we decided to make more time to explore our own state in part for our own mental wellbeing and in part because we’d been living here over 5 years and had barely hiked more than 10 different trails. We married on Valentine’s Day 2010 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. #Travel has always been something that we both love and have done quite a bit of in the 16 years we’ve been together. So why not combine our passion of video making and photography to share with you our adventures? We’re on a quest to find some of the coolest spots in #Colorado (and beyond!). Where should we visit next?
