The didgeridoo (or yidaki) is one of the most iconic sounds of Down Under, deeply connected to the long history and traditions of the Aboriginal peoples of Northern Australia.
But research suggests that playing this incredible instrument can also help improve respiratory health, alleviating asthma symptoms and even reducing sleep apnoea. Wakka Wakka Elder Uncle Paul Chapman and speech & breathing coach Dean Frenkel have both experienced the health benefits of playing the didgeridoo first-hand, and believe more men should be taking up the instrument.
