Wiring today! Dilithium BMS wiring. I’lltell you now, don’t follow my 7 module diagram here. I had to make a few changes to the LTCs and you will see that in the next BMS Episode ___________(link here once available).
My batteries were wired correctly but labeled incorrectly: so LTC 1 is battery module #1, which is the closest to the cable that connects to the SHUNT (negatice end of the series). Then LTC 4 will connect to the last battery in the series wiring: in my case, module #7, and its cable goes right to the POSITIVE (kill switch and main contactor).
Also, do not do my mistake and leave the batteries pigtails plugged in. There is full pack voltage going through the red circuit boards once the LTCs are wired, and I ended up burning out a few of the circuit boards (more on that in a future video). We’re learning folks!
