In a year dominated by artificial intelligence, deepfakes, and disingenuity, “authentic” has emerged as Merriam-Webster’s word for 2023. However, a number of years ago, I delivered a TEDx talk titled "The Importance of Being Inauthentic." This talk has proven to capture its own zeitgeist, with many people contacting me over the years to express how the ideas in it changed their lives for the better.

Recently, I was interviewed by success coach @bradleysugars about my reasoning for that talk, and he too agreed with my cultural take and philosophy on "authenticity."
