There's a lot they don't tell you about being a working mom - like the motherhood penalty, the balancing act, the impacts of maternity leave... etc. This is something I have been keeping from my channel for years, but I'm ready to reveal what it's like being a working mom. Being a working mom is incredibly hard (though being a mom in general is one of the best things I've ever done).

I can confidently say that all working moms will experience some career impact. How MUCH impact depends on what company they work for, who their manager is, and what role they are in.

I hope this video is helpful for anyone who is expecting, has little ones, or is experiencing some other life challenge or change outside of work.
