In this episode I get a pair of headphones sent to me from MU6. They are bone conduction headphones that allows me to hear my surrounding while also listening to music or a podcast. All the while nothing is going into your ear. Instead the device vibrates the bones by your each and the vibrations pass the eardrum and are picked up by the Cochlear and sent to the brain. The result is you hearing sound but not by airwaves, but by bone conduction. Pretty cool. I went on a ride with the headphones and because nothing is in your ear you still have spacial awareness around you. You can hear your tires, other riders and hikers while still hearing music.
