My 2nd time to Burning Man in 2014, I decided to build an art car / mutant vehicle. I wasn't a part of any camp and really wanted to see if I could build my own car. It was a hard project to do with my limited time, but I was able to finish the final details at the event. I wasn't able to find many details on how to build an art car here on Youtube, so I thought it would be a good idea to show people how I made mine.

I decided to use PVC because I did not have time to teach myself how to weld. If I was going to do it again, I would not have used faux fur. The 2014 rain storm really made a mess of the fur. Also, the dust storm, really changed the overall look of my panda. He went from white to brown pretty quick.

Overall, it is a big undertaking, but it is extremely rewarding driving your artwork and having hundreds of people appreciate your work. Hearing your name "PANDA!" called out every 3 minutes is pretty awesome. Giving people rides in the city and hearing that you "made their burn" makes all of the hard work worth while.

This is the video of my first Burning Man adventure:    • Burning Man 2014 : Playa Panda's Adve...
