In this video we'll take a look at an issue with a 2005 Toyota 4runner with an ABS light on and trouble code C0205.

If you've been watching my channel regularly then you'll know that I am a big advocate of spending 90% of your time on diagnosis. Car repair is not as simple as throwing parts at the problem until it's fixed.

Throwing parts at a problem with a car is a problem that professionals do and DIY mechanics do as well. Effective diagnosis stems from understanding normal operating conditions first.

In this video I will be focusing on the most common Anti Lock Brakes problem which is issues with Speed sensors. We'll first take a look at the concern. Then I'll share with you simple ways you can test speed sensors and verify that it's indeed is the issue.

Then I'll share with you the actual cause of the issue in the 4 runner we're working on which is NOT a speed sensor wire but rather the installation condition of the sensor itself and some corrosion on the wires.

Towards the end of the video I will share with you some practical diagnosis tips that you can't find in a book but learn through a long career fixing cars every day.
