I had horrible thoughts about myself; thoughts no one should have.
But through it all, I had a constant companion. One who never left my side. My beautiful cat Perseus.

When I felt unworthy of love and affection. He was always there, cuddling me, purring. They say a cat’s purr can lower your blood pressure, but I know it can heal deep and ancient wounds.
