It was a long time coming, but the Denver Centurion Lounge from American Express is finally open. Was it worth the wait? Watch and see what we thought.

But first, some basics. This lounge was announced way back in 2018 and supposed to open within a year. But after delays and the pandemic, that got pushed back. Finally, it opened on Feb. 1, 2021. So we checked it out ... on Feb. 1, 2021.
The Denver (DEN) Centurion lounge is massive, at more than 14,000 square feet. That's second only to the newish lounge in JFK. And all that extra space is packed with a lot of cool touches and amenities. That includes not one but two bars, a game room, a live cooking station, and more.
But it's not perfect. Like all Amex lounges, the Denver Amex Centurion lounge had some great drinks and good food. Did the food live up to the hype of a renowned chef with a live cooking station, though? Yes and no.
This is Amex's 14th Centurion Lounge worldwide, and the fifth one to open its doors just within the last year or so.
