FPV drones, or first-person view drones (that is, from the first person), are a fairly new type of weaponry in the Ukrainian military. They are used more and more on the front lines.
How to see it? Not very easy if you don't know where the fpv drones are hiding. But if you know, somewhere a few kilometers from the front edge of the trenches, you can see a person in a military uniform and wearing virtual reality glasses, and nearby another one who screws the same homemade bomb, printed on a 3D printer, to a homemade drone and sends it off with it drone towards the front line.
Fpv drones are quite cheap — about $400 apiece, and the military themselves often convert them from Kamikaze — that is, disposable to reusable. In this report, Nastiia Stanko and Kolyan Pastyko observe their work.
