How To Answer The "What Are Your Salary Expectations?" Question in a Real Estate Interview // I've interviewed with a lot of different companies during my time in commercial real estate, and in every interview I’ve gone through, the question that I’ve dreaded most is one of the most common interview questions in any industry:

“What are your salary expectations?”

And when someone asks you what you want to get paid, this ends up putting you in really uncomfortable position.

Come in too low and you'll sell yourself short.

Come in too high and you'll not only sound unrealistic, but also even potentially disqualify yourself from the process altogether.

So, if you're going through the interview process right now and want to get a better sense of how to tackle questions around your target pay, in this video, let's walk through three of the most helpful strategies I've found to navigate the, “What are your salary expectations?” question, and how you can actually provide an answer that works in your favor on interview day.
