James O’Brien asks what the government can do to prevent an 'exodus' of NHS doctors, as a study suggests that 13% of them are likely to leave within a year and may move abroad.

The General Medical Council said that this suggested that 96,000 doctors could leave the NHS over the next year, if the figures were extrapolated to the entire health service.
