Stand-up comedian Katerina Vrana talks about stereotypes and makes us all believe that the reason that they are funny is that they are true. This 16 minutes performance has everything; from humor, inconvenient truths and family secrets, to the actress's plan for global domination. One thing is for sure: it will make you laugh wholeheartedly.

Katerina Vrana was born and raised in Greece. She went to study in the UK and stayed there. As an actress, she has appeared in TV series in Greece, stage productions in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as in short films in both Greece and the UK. As the well-known London arts magazine, Time Out, once reported "Katerina Vrana sparkles" on stage.

About TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
