In ch1, Louis is tasked with carrying a large package to Mrs. Jewel's class. After getting it there, Mrs. Jewel's decides to have a class spelling bee to decide who gets to open the door for Louis.

In ch2, a new student named Mark Miller joins Mrs. Jewel's class. However, his name was not Mark Miller. It was Benjamin Nushmutt, but he couldn't find the courage to tell Mrs. Jewel's or anyone else at that.

In ch3, Bebe's little brother Ray keeps putting things on Bebe's homework about how smelly Mrs. Jewels is and how she has oatmeal for brains. She is awarded an A+ and a tootsie roll pop from the canister. Then one day, Mrs. Jewel's calls Bebe's Mom to learn a little bit more about Ray.

In ch4, while the class is learning about decimals and dinosaurs, Mac consistently interrupts explaining the hardships he had about not being able to locate his second sock. He even sings a song about it. The class is given homework, leaving Mac complaining about it being so unfair as his girlfriend Nancy has no homework at all.
