We've been out and about with the new Sigma 105mm f/2.8 Macro Lens for Sony E-Mount cameras. We've been using it with the Sony a7R IV and the Sony a7 III and using it for all kinds of things. Obviously, we've been testing out some macro photography (handheld) as well as portrait (which macro lenses can be great for) and even a little bit of landscape. Macro lenses are surprisingly versatile and that's certainly the case here. While they obviously excel at macro photography, they can make for great portrait options, especially when they have a long focal length like this one. It also gives you a different perspective for landscapes and so they definitely offer more to photographers than just their macro ability.
