Four years ago we eloped in the Cascade Mountains in Washington. Just us, a little hiking, a photographer, and a whole lot of laughs made this day the best day of our lives. For us the decision to elope wasn’t about sneaking away to get married, but rather it was about focusing the day on what’s really important: saying “I do” to one another. We didn’t want the stress or attention of the day to be anywhere but on one another the commitment we were making.

While we 100% think eloping was the right decision for us, we don’t think it’s for everyone. There are definite pros and cons to this type of wedding and we’re more than happy to answer any questions you may have about our decision to have this sort off wedding.
