#MetrolinkManchester
In this video I go on a tour of all the lines of Manchester's Metrolink network, starting at my home base, Manchester Airport and visiting Bury, Altrincham, Ashton, Eccles, MediaCityUK, the Trafford Centre, the city centre, East Didsbury, Chadderton, Oldham Rochdale and back down via the city centre and St Werburgh's Road Chorlton to Manchester Airport again.

For me, Metrolink is not just a means of getting around Greater Manchester, it's also a window on the conurbation with many magnificent views - and some not so magnificent ones, which I've edited out! I had originally hoped to do the journey round Metrolink in one day but in the end, it took four journeys on four separate days. The video was recorded in November 2023.

I've featured some construction sites as well as many other landmarks and views over rivers and highways.

Next to Freehold stood one of Oldham's most magnificent mills, Hartford Mill, but it was demolished recently, the chimney was blown up in 2023. Martin Zero was there to document that event, I recommend watching his video    • An explosive demolition of a mill chi...
