The Avalon 50 mile/50k is an amazing event. I chose to run the 50 miler. This was my first 50-mile mountain race and wow! The run was challenging, beautiful, and I loved it. With nearly 7,000 feet of climbing, these 50 miles will be something to remember. Not only was this my first 50 miler but my 3rd and final race in winning the Catalina Island Triple Crown finisher award. Curious, what the Triple Crown is, watch and find out! What an adventure this journey was.
