This fossil is my rarest yet, the first flying bird from this area! I honestly must have back about 30 or 40 times to look for the other half, I actually cannot believe I found it!

Chances are this is a undescribed species of shearwater or albatross but it will require someone writing it up. Until then it remains a mystery. I have donated it to the Canterbury Museum.
