2020 has brought a lot upon us, which plays on and on like a never ending drama of twist and turns. The COVID19 pandemic has on a high level, led to political and economic upheaval of sorts with ripple effects down to the common man around the world. At the sametime, 2020 has also been the year where a lot of positive evolution has taken place in various industries such as payments and e-commerce. Along that same line, global recognition (acceptance) and adoption of crypto has gathered renewed pace - you don’t even hear the word “scam” nearly as often as 2017/2018. What is the current state of crypto, is the key motivation behind the interest purely one of profits or a much longer term vision is in play?
