A fun time! Nestled along the banks of the upper Hudson River in the small town of Stony Creek in the Adirondack Park. 1000 Acres Ranch is a horse riding resort with trails right on the property. The owners (who are such awesome hosts) open up these trails a few times each year for atv's and side by sides. These events are by invitation and you must contact the property if interested in attending one. Our package included very nice lodging, use of all of the property's facilities, kayaking, pool, hot tub and all meals. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were provided both days in the nicely appointed main room complete with fireplace, your own assigned table and even a DJ one night. To say the owners and staff were very accomodating is an understatement. As a plus, the kids were free to ride around the property like they owned it. We had a fun time in a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
