Chinese electric car manufacturer Zeekr, part of the Geely holding, has unveiled its most powerful model, the all-electric Zeekr 001 FR (FR stands for Future Road).
The new electric car is based on its first production car, the Zeekr 001, which is equipped with a twin engine with a total power of 536 horsepower.

In terms of performance, the new 001 FR is an absolute monster, equipped with four electric motors with a total output of 1265 horsepower.
The new Chinese sports car is a serious competitor for the Tesla Model S Plaid, which uses three electric motors with a total capacity of 1020 hp.
In a recent drag race in a straight line, the new Zeekr was slightly faster than the Tesla Model S Plaid.
This Chinese electric rocket can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.07 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 280 km/h.
While the Tesla accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.1 seconds, although the top speed is higher at 322 km/h.

To reduce weight, the FR received a carbon fiber aerodynamic kit, a more aggressive front bumper, a sharp front splitter, larger air intakes, side sills, and a rear roof spoiler that acts as a fixed rear wing.
The sports car is equipped with high-quality tires mounted on 22-inch rims and a race-level braking system, including 10-piston AP Racing brake calipers and Brembo carbon-ceramic brake discs.

The powerplant consists of four electric motors, with a particularly interesting detail being the rear motors, which use a carbon fiber-wrapped rotor.
This helps to achieve an impressive speed of 20,620 rpm.
Electric motors, in addition to instant acceleration, have independent torque control and can allow the car to turn on the spot. The tank mode will facilitate maneuvers in tight spaces.

The car is equipped with a 100 kilowatt-hour battery and can travel more than 600 kilometers on a single charge.
The battery pack supports ultra-fast charging thanks to an advanced 800-volt electrical system.
As a result, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 15 minutes.
In comparison, the Tesla Model S Plaid takes 25 minutes to charge from 10 to 80 percent.

The interior features a 15.4-inch infotainment system display and an 8.8-inch instrument panel. The list of equipment includes a built-in satellite phone and navigation, which will work with Geely's own satellites, which the company began launching last year.
The price is expected to start at $137,750.
