Part 2 of 4. As I was preparing to go to the Hot Wheels Nationals Convention near Chicago, Illinois this year I got a call from a guy who lived just outside of Chicago who still had his 50 year old collection of Redlines. Over the next three weeks we talked about the collection, what was included and what it would take to beat the other collectors know at the door and wanting to buy the cars. As soon as I arrived in Chicago I grabbed a rental car and sped to our meeting. It was a good meet and we were able to agree on a price and all the cars came home with me. Very glad to get them since I spent all the time at the Convention with friends visiting and having a great week of Hot Wheels fun.
