Stam Fine Reviews one of the most heart-breaking entries in our Vault of 'Almost' playlist, Battlestar Galactica from 1978. It only ran for a single season but it has never really gone away with a poorly conceived and received sequel series, and a critically acclaimed and popular 2000's re-imagining from Ronald D Moore.
Here's the first of three videos look at retro Galactica, the second will be about Galactica 1980 and the third will be a look at each episode. We're also likely to go back and take an even more in depth look at Ron Moore's Galactica. It was one this channel's very earliest reviews and we don't need much of an excuse to watch Galactica.

5-10% of this video is pure felgercarb. See if you guess which bits are. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Battlestar Galactica is more than a cheap Star Wars clone for TV, it's something a bit better. Or not. Whatever floats your boat.
Stars Lorne Greene, Richard Hatch, Dirk Benedict, Herbert Jefferson Jr, Anne Lockhart, Terry Carter, Noah Hathaway, Laurette Spang, Maren Jensen, and John Colicos as Baltar.
