1. Dunedin Marina
Dunedin Marina is located in the heart of downtown Dunedin and According to www.visitdunedinfl.com, there are 180 boat slips. Within the marina is a public fishing Pier; a prime sunset viewing location. Additionally, there are commercial boats for dolphin cruises or charter a sailboat/fishing boat. The historic Boat Club clubhouse is also located here. This building has been a destination for boaters for over 90 years and is in use to this day. The Dunedin marina also has a ferry to shuttle you to Clearwater Beach!

While you are at the marina, don't forget to visit Edgewater Park situated just across from the marina parking lot. This small, shady park with mature trees is picturesque and features a playground, gazebo, picnic tables & water views.

2. Pinellas Trail-
According to www.kaferacer.com (a coffee and bike rental and repair company), The Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail is a linear park and recreation trail made for everyone to enjoy. The trail, created along an abandoned railroad corridor, provides a unique, protected green space for walking, jogging, skating, and biking. The 50-mile trail runs through the heart of Downtown Dunedin, stretching from St. Petersburg all the way to Tarpon Springs, and on to the Pasco County line.

3. Cafe Alfresco Restaurant- in Downtown Dunedin, is directly across from the Dunedin History Museum. This restaurant established in 1995, is an old-school dining option overlooking the Pinellas Trail with a menu ranging from Italian to burgers. Cafe Alfresco boasts Freshly prepared food with high-quality ingredients. We took my mom here to celebrate Mother's Day this year. Mom had their FRENCH TOAST A LA RITZ Grilled Egg Battered Texas Toast with Clover Leaf Honey, Fresh Fruit and Powdered Sugar.
Dad had TRAIL BLAZER OMELET Sauteed Onion, Peppers, & Ham with Cheddar Cheese. Served with Breakfast Potatoes & Buttered Toast. My brother Daniel had their BACON-CHEDDAR OMELET with Breakfast Potatoes & buttered Toast. I had their POACHED EGGS FLORENTINE
Two Poached Eggs over a Spinach – Bacon Potato Pancake with a Ham-Mushroom Sauce.

4. Shops & Restaurants- while you are here, downtown Dunedin is home to a variety of unique restaurants, several breweries, and boutiques. My brother Daniel and I found the Dunedin Coffee & Bakery which has delicious coffee drinks and pastries.

5. Finally, the Saturday Farmer's Market at Pioneer Park is NOT to be missed. This charming park turns into an outdoor bazaar with fresh produce, prepared food, art, plants and everything in between. Mom enjoyed checking out many of the booths and learning about what they offer.
