A day that will have implications for all Americans for decades to come. The bravery of the NYFD, NYPD and the EMS workers was never questioned. Now that almost 900 of them have medical issues directly linked to the fine concrete particles and the toxic smoke they breathed, when searching for survivors, has left many with respiratory problems that have crippled these brave men and women who ran into the danger, while others ran from the horror of the Planes that were hijacked by fanatics who did not value life, liberty or freedom.
