As part of an epic road trip in 2021, I made a stop at the SoundTraxx facility in Durango, Colorado to document how their DCC decoders are made. One of the big take-aways for me, as George Bogatiuk talks about SoundTraxx Tsunami 2 decoders, is realizing how much effort is put into quality control to ensure that the end users end up with a functional decoder when they go to install it. And we're not just talking about their higher end SoundTraxx Tsunami 2 decoders! We're talking all their sound decoders!! Add to this a good measure of social responsibility and products made in USA and you have a winning combination.
