I have 2 Rolex Watches but GUESS WHAT? They aren't for me and my enjoyment. They are for networking. Unfortunately, in today's world you have to show your success to have a seat at the table sometimes. When I wear one of my Rolex's at a networking event, it is a conversation starter. People usually compliment them and usually they want to have a conversation and learn more about what I do for a living. This gives me a perfect segway into telling them about my company. The revenue that has came from my luxury watch collection is more than what I have paid for it. If you are networking, make sure you dress nicely and look the part. You shouldn't have to, but often times it results in more success.
