Aanya is a SUSI scholar, being one of the four girls nominated to represent India. She is Co-Founder of Covid Fighters India, one of the largest COVID relief initiatives in the country which came up during the second wave. She is also Co-Founder of GirlUp Rise, a UN foundation collaboration to empower women across the world, and a member of the WICCI Anti Sexual Harassment Council Delhi. Her talk revolves around the adversity that was faced by millions of people in India, as the second wave of the coronavirus hit us. She talks about the helpless situation of the public due to the scarcity of resources. Aanya shares her story through her experiences of that time.

Aanya is a recent graduate from LSR. She is a SUSI scholar, the Co-Founder of Covid Fighters India, Co-Founder of GirlUp Rise, founding project head of Aghaaz,and a member of the WICCI Anti Sexual Harassment Council Delhi. Aanya has worked as a journalist with The Quint and was the Campus Coordinator with The Jurni. She is also a part of many NGOs for social well being.
