The region of Leiria in Portugal has the largest pine forest in Portugal, and a large part of the coastal region is formed by rolling sand dunes as far as the eye can see. It's a great area for walking and cycling and like most areas of Portugal it has some hidden treasures. Like the Vale do Lapedo. I explore these areas and the beautiful beaches here on the west coast of Portugal.

Come take a look at the old house that I have settled on to buy in a tiny quite village amongst the sand dunes in the area of Vieira de Leiria just ten minutes from the beach.
