Hello, I'm Martin, I live with my wife in Almere and I retired after 40 years of working life. We have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
In 2019 we decided to build a swimming pool in the backyard of our house. We had a swimming pool built in our previous house and after 3 years in our new house we started to miss that swimming pool. Although an above-ground pool was fine, we still felt the need for a real pool. Perhaps a little overconfident, I decided to do it all myself. In August 2019 I made a design and in September of that year I started the first work. June 3, 2020 I took my first job, full of pride.
Through this channel I want to show how I went through the building process step by step, even the finishing of the garden is discussed. There is also a video that provides insight into the costs. You may also feel like building your own swimming pool after watching the videos. I hope that you can use my experiences as support.
