Jan Gierlach represents the next generation of Bob Lee’s legacy solo cross-country bike rides to benefit Cancer, ALS and Hospice. Jan is graduating a semester early from Barrington High School to travel 3,300 miles from San Diego, California to St. Augustine, Florida on a bicycle in February 2017.

He will complete this ride by himself and without the assistance or aid of anyone else. He will carry on his bike all the necessary supplies from clothing to camping gear for the duration of the estimated 2 and half months it will take to complete this journey.
