Good Functionality. If you're an S550 owner and are looking to get or already have aftermarket wheels and tires for your pony, these TPMS Tire Pressure Sensors are something you need. TPMS stands for tire pressure monitoring system, something that's been featured on Mustangs for a while now. If you don't install new sensors, a warning light will show up on your dash warning you of a tire pressure monitor fault. Depending on the laws in your state, this could cause you to fail your vehicle inspection. The way to turn that off is to install these sensors. Again, these work for all 2015 to 2017 Ford Mustang GT, EcoBoost and V6 models. Made to Work. These TPMS tire pressure sensors are made to work just like the ones that come on your car originally. Aside from just helping your Mustang pass state safety inspections, these really do come in handy. They monitor for unsafe tire pressure levels, warning you of the problem so you can replace some lost air in your tires. Tires that are too low wear prematurely and unevenly, plus they negatively impact handling, acceleration and braking. Simple Setup. When ordering custom wheels and tires from the online store, you'll have the option of getting the TPMS sensors plus an install tool. You'll need that tool plus your car's key fob to set things up. The process is super simple, with some of the directions showing on the dash. Then you go from tire to tire, aiming the tool at each valve stem, where the sensors are located inside the tires. This process should take you about 15 minutes.
