This is finishing up a job I am doing for a neighbor. In my last video I made a sheath for this tomahawk. He also wanted me to wrap the handle with leather. I decided to make a braided handle very similar to how whip handles are made. I used oiled leather about 4 ounce in thickness for the lace. This handle is an 8 strand diamond round braid with turks-head knots at each end.

1/2 inch leather lace is available in my Etsy shop: https://bransonsgeneralstore.etsy.com...

I am always working on building something and try to average a YouTube video once a week. Most often they are about leather work, but I have also posted videos on black smithing, knife making, casting, and even how I make soap.
