Surrogacy is an arrangement often supported by a legal agreement whereby a woman agrees to bear a child for another person or persons. who will become the child's parents after birth. This story is all about surrogacy and the
implications it creates in the relationship of a young mother and her daughter.
This mother is still in the prime of her youth and the daughter is 20.
The whole family met with an accident when this daughter was in her mother's womb. Daughter loves a man. mother happily marries her off to the loved one. Even after a long duration. the daughter does not conceive. Only two options are left before them. either adoption or surrogacy. They choose surrogacy. Mother gets the lot. She is unwilling in the beginning but later yields to compulsions.
The daughter becomes annoyed and doubtful of her husband's over care and compassion towards her mother.
She becomes sceptic about their relationship. She eaves -drops the conversation between her mother and husband. She could hear only one sentence of her mother clearly."My daughter should never know this". She explodes and asks about his relationship with her mother. Her mother gives birth to a baby girl and dies without even giving her an opportunity to apologise. She writes a book about her loving mother.
