In this video, Jenny reviews the latest 2019 RAV4 Hybrid AWD in the Cruise trim, which is the top trim you can have in a hybrid RAV4. Toyota obviously aimed to make the new RAV4 look modern, but also keep the reassuring ruggedness that the RAV4 should have.

There are three options, ranging from a 2 L petrol with 127 kW of power and 203 Nm of torque, to a 2.5 L naturally aspirated petrol with 152 kW and 243 Nm of torque

And the RAV 4 Jenny reviews which is a 2.5 L hybrid with 163 kW of power and 221 Nm of torque from the petrol engine alone.

The entry-level model comes either with a manual or a CVT and the top trim comes with an 8-speed automatic.

That latter RAV4 trim is called Edge and it comes with that 2.5 Litre petrol engine and with no hybrid option.

All the other versions, including this Cruiser Hybrid, the highest trim with the hybrid powertrain, come with a CVT.

As we transition to electric cars. It seems hybrids are an acceptable transition vehicle for people, especially in Australia.
