Welcome back to Quantum News Monthly in 2024! Mingyu and I kick off our first video this year by covering the much celebrated recent paper on logical quantum processor from Harvard University. We compare and contrast this work with other notable quantum error correction work from @GoogleQuantumAI and @QuantinuumQC. Finally, we add an important outlook for future work needed in error correction and fault tolerant quantum computing.
