It is one of the must do's and see's of Ethiopia and also for me one of the highlights - the rock churches of Lalibela, Ethiopia. Just incredible what mankind is capable of doing. More than 800 years ago they carved out the 11 churches of Lalibela out of a rock ... or actually it is a whole mountain.
