*** ERROR CORRECTION: I was told, by Polestar 2 owners that there actually is a trunk release button on the outside of the car. It is hidden under the edge where the license plate is. Not the most intuitive place to put a button, but it makes sense. I will mention it in my next video. Thanks to those who pointed it out.

Air Woofer Technology:

I received details from Polestar about the “Air Woofer Technology”. It is part of the Harman Kardon Premium Audio 13-speaker sound system which is part of the optional Plus Pack. Many vehicles place the subwoofer under the seats or in the rear/trunk, as that was often the only place it could fit. Without a gas engine up front the Polestar 2 can utilize part of the space for the “Air Woofer Technology”. Similar to a subwoofer this area under the dash was specifically designed with the Harman Kardon sound system, adding additional audio depth and enhancing the overall audio experience.
