Over the last 6 months, we've spent 48 days camping in various areas throughout Alberta's Eastern Slopes of the Rocky Mountains. We began our spring season in May, shortly after ice-off and snow melt. The wild horses were foaling, the spring rains were falling, the valleys were misty and the wildlife was celebrating the lush season arriving. It was the most alive we've ever witnessed the land, full of bird song and magic.
