In order to qualify for SSDI, you need to be insured. You become insured by paying taxes into the Social Security system.

Under SSA's rules, you become insured by earning credits, which are based on your gross income in a calendar year.

In this video, I demonstrate how credits work and how you can generate the maximum 4 credits for a particular year.
