Update: Follow-up video showing carabiner loops:    • Tiedown Hooks  &  Wheel Straps

I was towing my Honda Pioneer on the trailer and hit a spot of broken pavement that stretched all the way across the Interstate, and the trailer and Pioneer bounced and the rear tie-down straps came loose.

Today, I added tie-down rings that are much more effective than just connecting the toe-down straps to the trailer. I'll still tie the pioneer to the metal frame of the trailer, but the rings will be a closer connection point for added protection.

Tie-down rings can be purchased at most hardware stores. If you add these to your trailer, make sure they are sized correctly for the weight you are towing.

ALWAYS take time to secure you equipment properly and stop a couple of times on your trip to check the trailer hitch and tie-down straps.
