FIRST LOOK: Today I spotted the all NEW 2024 Nissan Z Nismo on the road here in Nashville, Tennessee. I followed it as it left Nashville Cars and Coffee and also got detailed 4K footage of the interior/exterior.

The Z NISMO makes 420 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6.

Compared to the regular Performance Z, the NISMO gets a redesigned wastegate, better cooling, bigger oil cooler and performance-enhancing ignition timing.This gives it 20 extra horses and 34 more pound-feet of torque over the standard Z.

The Z NISMO will only be available with the nine-speed (9 speed) automatic transmission. However, it does come with a NISMO-only clutch packs and retuned engine management software. This makes for quicker downshifts and a more aggressive launch control. There is also a Sport+ driving mode that makes the shifts much quicker.

This was a rare sighting and I think this has to be a Drive615 exclusive as I may have been one of the first to spot it out on the road.
