The Electric Car Australia YouTube Channel is at a cross roads, it needs to start earning it's keep! Started in 2020 as a hobby to share my real world experience of living with an EV, I seriously underestimated the time it takes to produce videos and manage the various social media platforms to get the word out.

Hand picket Channel Sponsors are on the way! Why? Well in short most YouTube viewers want free stuff and don't value my content enough to pay for it, it's as simple as that. So the Channel needs to start making money in different ways for the time and effort going into it to continue.

Since I started I attempted to keep the Channel genuine by doing everything myself but have found this cant continue given the time it takes around full time work and young family.

I also avoided taking on Sponsors to stay 100% independent so viewers could trust the advice or comment without worrying about paid influence but this has meant the Channel doesn't have any real income which could be used to help create and improve the content.

Rather than close the channel at this point, I've made the decision to invite select business's to become paid Channel sponsors and only those who I have used their products or services and would genuinely recommend them irrespective of them paying any sponsorship.

So the future of the Channel is in viewers hands, and my ability to secure Sponsors moving forward.
