Getting confused about which way to turn a spoke key or wrench to adjust spoke tension?

In this tutorial I explain that spokes and nipples are just nuts and bolts. I true wheels being able to see the head of the nipples, naturally making it more logical to know which way to turn them. Doing it the way I do takes away the confusion and makes wheel building easier, faster and more ergonomic.

I've always done it this way because it stops the jig getting in my way while making adjustments. It makes truing wheels in the bike much more straight forward. If you learn how to do it this way it'll be better for your mind and body. It also makes locating the spoke key or wrench on the nipple better, reducing the chance of rounding them.

This way takes the awkwardness out of truing and building wheels.
