For all the gaming fans, the live-action movie based on the Mortal Kombat games was the event of the century. I mean, where else are you going to see the God of Thunder training Earthlings to an out-worldly battle? Okay, maybe the movie didn’t get great critic reviews. But the movie did manage a record-breaking opening. Breathing life into some of the most popular gaming characters at the time, Mortal Kombat brought in a good deal of gripping fight scenes.
