Political leaders across the spectrum are out and about.

ActionSA's Herman Mashaba has been hosting a conversation with hundreds of South African Police reservists at the Mayfair Baptist church in Johannesburg.

They say they are disappointed at the ongoing lack of absorption into the service.

Currently over 4-thousand reservists around the country are being paid part-time salaries. Mashaba has promised to look into the situation.
